At Higher Self Skin our expertly trained and highly skilled skin therapists will assess your skin and tailor an individual treatment plan to help you achieve the best skin of your life! All treatments at Higher Self Skin are medical grade and require a consultation prior. This thorough analysis of your skin and its condition is a crucial element in your first treatment with us. This skin consultation and analysis will ensure the subsequent professional treatments and home care prescription plan will completely address your concerns for now and the future.
Before your Treatment
In order to achieve the most out of your treatment we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to complete a thorough consultation form. If you are running behind we reserve the right to cut your treatment time to ensure that our therapists are not late for their next following procedure.
The Experience
Upon arrival at Higher Self Skin you will be ushered into our treatment lounge by our Skin Concierge. There the journey begins with a customised skin elixir using one of our clean and organic naturopathic designed serums to support your skin health goals.
Pre + Post Care
Some procedures we perform in clinic may require pre & post care corrective products as a “skin prep” to ensure appropriate care for the treatment area. This is also to ensure we limit associated risks involved. For certain procedures this is a non-negotiable however this will be discussed with you at the time of your consultation and/or before the treatment.
Treatment Considerations
We advise that you avoid the use of sunless tanning products on the face, neck and décolletage for seven days before your appointment. Sun exposure, Botox & injectable treatments may be a contraindication for the treatment you have scheduled. Certain medication such as Accutane, Tretinoin can also affect your treatment. Please also make a note of the details of your current home regime, your skin concerns and any recent peels, laser or corrective treatments, eyebrow tattooing and waxing that you may have recently carried out in the weeks prior to your appointment.
Pregnancy | Vegan | Gluten
Your wellness is our top priority, we choose sustainable, Australian made activities which are Vegan, Gluten Free in all of our treatments Please inform us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as every treatment can be customised to be pregnancy | breastfeeding safe for the comfort of mother and child.
Cancellations + Booking Fees
Card details and/or a booking deposit are required at the time of booking to secure all appointments. All booking deposits are non-refundable. We will send you a text message and email reminder confirming your appointment 72 hours prior. If you choose to reschedule or cancel with less than 48 hrs notice or are absent at the time of your appointment, you will incur the full treatment fee. Cancellations are not accepted via social media
