COSMEDICAL FACIAL AFTERCARE
When having an O Cosmedics Dermal Planning™ treatment it is important to remember
1. Your recovery time and depth of peeling will depend on your skin condition and the chosen peel. Your skin may
become very hot, red and peel significantly. Your Skin Care Specialist will discuss with you what you may experience
and the aftercare.
2. Avoid direct sun for 5-10 days. Mineral Pro SPF 30+ is mandatory and must be reapplied every 2 hours.
3. Avoid Waxing/Hair Removal for 14 days.
4. Avoid peels, IPL, Laser and Cosmeceutical Facial Treatments for 14 days that are not prescribed by clinic.
5. Avoid exercise, heated yoga, saunas, spas and getting over heated for 24 hours.
6. Do not pick, scratch or peel the skin.
7. No exfoliating products, AHA’s, Vitamin A products, Retin A scrubs, or enzymes post treatment for 5 days.
8. Do not use harsh or scratching washcloths for three days after the peel. Apply O gentle antioxidant cleanser to clean hands for application.

• Sunbaking and Sun beds are to be avoided the entire duration of the treatment regime
• Unrealistic Expectations of the client
• Unprepared skin. Please assign home care products for the client
• Be cautious with photosensitive medications. Please see consent form for list of medications

- I have been honest in communicating any condition that the therapist needs to know to prohibit this treatment such as cold sores, pregnancy, hormone treatment, recent surgery or laser resurfacing, recent use of Retin A oruse of Roaccutane within the last twelve months.
- I understand that there are no guaranteed results from this treatment. Many variables such as age, sun damage, ongoing sun exposure, sun beds, smoking, excessive alcohol intake, climate, diet and water intake, skin thickness and sensitivity may influence results. I understand that
- I may or may not peel and that each case is individual.
- Regardless of precautions taken, I acknowledged the possibility of an adverse reaction to the peel and accept sole responsibility for any medical care that may become necessary. I will immediately contact the Doctor, Nurse or Skin Care Specialist performing the treatment of any adverse reactions.
- I will not scratch, pick, pull at or abrade the treated skin.
I understand that direct sun exposure and use of a tanning booth is prohibited during this treatment time, and that a mandatory use of a Mineral Pro SPF 30+ sun protection daily. - I understand that to achieve maximum results the recommended home care routine must be followed. I understand that if I altar the routine or use products not recommended by the skin care professional the results could be altered or inhibitive. I also understand that it may take several treatments to obtain the desired results
