Naturally Full & Plump

Naturally Beautiful

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a non-invasive treatment used to restore youth and volume to the face. As we age, our skin begins to lose its elasticity and natural hydration. This, combined with the effects of gravity, can lead to lines, wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Fillers are an excellent option to restore volume to the lips, chin, cheeks, jawline, temples and hollowing under the eyes. This process is administered via tiny injections made up of hyaluronic acid and the results are visible instantly.

What does the treatment involve?

Filler injections are performed in chair and take 30 minutes or less. Depending on the treatment area our nurse will apply a topical local anaesthetic or administer a dental block in order to make your treatment as comfortable as possible. A tiny needle or cannula will be used to inject the filler into the target areas. The exact volume of filler injected depends on the depth of the wrinkle, amount of change desired, skin type, and other factors.

How many treatments will I need?

One treatment is required initially however in order to maintain results, repeat treatments will be required.

How long will the results last?

Our treatment uses non-permanent dermal filler. The results of your Dermal Filler treatment can last from 6-18 months depending on the type of filler used in your case. As you continue to get injections, you will notice that you won’t need them with the same frequency because the gel within the filler is able to stay in place longer.

What does the treatment cost?

1ml Lip Filler - $490

2ml Cheek filler - $890

Tear Troughs - $600

Nasolabial Folds - $550

Who can have this treatment?

Anyone above the age of 18 looking to reverse the signs of aging or looking to add volume to the face. This treatment is not suitable to have while pregnant or nursing.

Patients may experience minor bruising, swelling, redness or tenderness at the point of injection. Because the ingredient used in filler occurs naturally in the body there is very little risk of an allergic reaction.

Pre and Post-Care Information

After your treatment it is best not to unnecessarily touch or massage the area for a few days, though normal make-up routines may be adhered to. It is also advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to heat, cold, and sun for up to two weeks following your injections.

Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, green tea, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen and NSAIDS have a blood-thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
